Problem:
Extreme Turbulence at the bottom of the wet well affecting the 4 pumps performance and longevity.
Solution:
Vortex Suppression Baskets & Spool combination welded together utilizing three points of flow straightening:
- 1st stage: 1″ wide square grate mounted near the bottom
- 2nd stage uses thirty (30) side wall vanes mounted 12 degree apart
- 3rd stage straightening grid mounted in the pipe, size 3.5″ x 3.5″ square.
