About Flow Optimizers

Flow Optimizers®, LLC a Minority and Woman Owned Business (MWBE), was formed in March 2017 as a Hydraulics Engineering Design company with the vision to solve pump inlet flow problems through innovative design solutions, advanced manufacturing techniques, and lower cost manufacturing.

Our goal; to bring standard inlet flow conditioning solutions to market. However, we are often challenged with uniquely difficult inlet conditions and we rely on several hydraulic model testing laboratories to help modify our standard designs to achieve the goals of the particular client’s needs.

Our scope of services include Engineering, Design  and Fabrication for the following products:

• Flow Optimizers® Baskets
  Flow conditioning, vortex suppression baskets that mounts on the suction of vertical turbine pumps.
• Flow Optimizers® Vaned Spool
  Flow conditioning spool assemblies that mount on the suction of a double suction split case pump.
• Flow Optimizers® Floor Cone
  Flow conditioning floor mounted inlet suction cones for lift station pumps.
• Flow Optimizers® Vaned Tee
  Flow conditioning inserts that are conveniently flange mounted onto pipes, elbows, and Tee’s.
• Flow Optimizers® Vaned Cross
  Flow Conditioning Grids are used when upstream piping is less than ideal, and not per Hydraulic Institute guidelines.
• Flow Optimizers® Bellmouth
  Flow Conditioning Bells mounts onto the suction of a submersible pump.
• Flow Optimizers® Handhole Clean-out
  Custom made pipe spool with a handhole clean-out to allow you to lock-out/tag-out the pump, easily open the clamp, remove our contoured plug giving access to the suction of the clogged pump.
• Flow Optimizers® Handhole Clean-out w/Plug and Vanes
  Custom made pipe spool with a handhole clean-out to allow you to lock-out/tag-out the pump, easily open the clamp, our contoured plug gives access to the suction of the clogged pump and helps to minimize disturbances as flow passes clean-out port.
• Flow Optimizers® Vaned Reducing Elbow
  Reducing Elbows with a 2 diameter reduction have been proven to be the most effective way to condition the flow prior to the pumps suction.
