South Dakota Soybean Processors Airflow Conditioning Project – Volga, SD
Buyer:South Dakota Soybean Processors, USA
Engineer:DESMET, Marietta, GA
Problem
Turbulent airflow from the cyclone stacks was causing unreliable flow measurements and severe vibration, making system performance inconsistent.
Solution
Flow Optimizers designed and implemented a Flow Optimizer Spool to condition the airflow before it reached the flow meter, ensuring smooth operation and accurate readings.
Results
✔ Successful stack test completion
✔ Eliminated extra braces used for stability
✔ Reliable flow measurements & reduced vibration
